Description

OMG, painting is so much fun!
I'm really glad I was able to finish this before the end of year, I thought this watercolor painting would take forever XD
It's my first time painting with this style, it's so interesting, I'd love to try this again~

This is a KenxAyu drawing (OCxOC). Ever notice how small Ayumi's wings are? Well, she can't fly. Kenta Masakazu, the person pulling her up, is her lover and the person who helps her fly so that she can reach the stars and live her dream :)

I don't think I ever posted a full body of Ken yet, I'll try to finish a drawing of him soon so that you can visualize the story a bit better~ ;D

Have a wonderful holiday! :la: I hope you enjoyed this ^_^

Thank you for every Comment, Critique, Fav and/or +Watch!
I really do appreciate the support

Waltz in the Sky seems to draw upon anime-subculture when it comes to the depiction of the girl. It results in a typical face that is halfway European and Japanese. Truth to be told: I don't have much with manga and anime, so I can appreciate the lady on the picture, but I cannot bring up much love for her, sorry.

More interesting is the arm in the upperleft corner. It recalls Michelangelo's painting of David and God. I do not know if the reference is on purpose, but it gives a good dimension to the title.

The most interesting aspect of the picture is the background. With the title in mind, it's clear that it's a depiction of heaven. Heaven isn't anywhere, it blurs out from the sky to the ground. It suggests there are always bits of heaven around, even in the material world.
